Last night -- Thursday -- 8pm

4 people (uh-oh)

People liked it (I guess) I thought it was okay.

Trailers -- Trying to remember...hmmmm....

The Dying Girl (whatever it's called -- the high school movie about those two guys who make movies and befriend the girl with cancer)

The Brian Wilson biopic with Paul Dano and John Cusack

A couple of other ones...slipping my mind right now.

Trailers that I can remember:

Ted 2
Me, Earl and the Dying Girl
Love and Mercy
Entourage
Ant-Man

Went at 2:45pm screening. There were 5 other people in the theater. Nobody, including myself, seemed to enjoy it. One person walked out.

reply

9 people.

Trailers I remember are FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD, INFINITELY POLAR BEAR.

Crowd was mostly quiet but I enjoyed the movie.

Saw it at 9:50 tonight. 4 people total including me and my friend. It was being shown in one of the smallest theaters.

Trailers:
Me, Earl, and the Dying Girl
Entourage
Ant-Man
Love & Mercy

A few chuckles from me and my friend, otherwise dead silence. 1 person had walked out by the time it was over. I thought it was meh and my friend didn't like it at all. It had it's moments and I'll admit THAT part I did not see coming. But the whole thing was just so sloppy that I couldn't get into it.

5.5/10

Went today-5/8 @ 7:50 show...Including my husband and myself, there were about 10 people..The trailers I remember were Ant-Man and the Dead girl pic, and it was mostly quiet...a few chuckles here and there...My husband looked at me at one point and said "this is a comedy??" I thought it was just okay...maybe because I wasn't sure of what it was trying to be...

Mouse: If you didn't want me to kill him, why did you leave me alone with him?

Did your husband like it at all?

reply

Not really...

I went to a 5 pm matinee, was one of two people in the theater, and the other guy walked out when the gay sex scene started. (Wierdo also initially tried to sit immediately behind me in the next row back, but I think my glare satisfactorily conveyed that would be an unwise choice for someone who wanted to leave the theater with the same number of limbs he entered with.)

I thought it was a good enough movie other than Jack Black's customary over-the-top mugging. But it was badly mis-marketed as a comedy; I only recall one funny line in the whole thing.

You would maim someone for sitting behind you at the movies? What is wrong with you?

I went at 2:30 on 5/9. I was the only person in the theater. Lol. Kinda sad, but that was a first for me so it was cool. Not surprised though, considering there has been zero promotion for the movie. I enjoyed it for the most part, definitely not what I was expecting.
Trailers were:
Entourage
Me and Earl and the Dying Girl
Love & Mercy
Masterminds
Learning to Drive

i went 5/13 wed night at 9:20. I was the only one in the theater. the ticket taker was surprised I wanted to see the movie. It was sad. I only was in the theaters by myself one time and that was for the Ben Afflec, Morgan Freeman movie. and that was a dollar theater. I did not think the movie was that bad. It was good. Could have been better but so could the avengers and it made 300 million. so far. The D train has been pulled from our theater already. I knew it would be so that is why i went on Wednesday
