Did Jack Black...

...commit suicide at the end? His note seemed like it had a "goodbye, world" tenor. I thought he was either jogging to a bridge he intended to jump off of, or was going to throw himself on some tracks after dubbing himself D-Train. That would've been a pretty twisted note to outwardly end a movie on.

Really enjoyed the movie, btw. Very underrated. Had kind of an Alexander Payne vibe. It presented a very unique situation involving crisis of identity. Marsden is terrific, and the supporting cast is a real who's who.

I thought the same. I was hoping to see any clear evidence that he did in fact commit suicide, but it looks like he just went for a jog?

The line "see you on the other side" is indeed usually a reference to death but sometimes can mean see you after a difficult task or simply see you later. After everything that happened to Dan, it would be easy to think he committed suicide but there were too many shots and scenes at the end that indicated he would be OK.

1 - Dan's son Zach is concerned about getting through his day at school but then his girlfriend Heather shows up so he's got that going for him but more importantly she tells Dan that he's messed up and that she likes it, meaning he's kind of cool. This can't be a throwaway line. I think this gives Dan some hope.

2 - Sticking with Zach, there's a shot of him stacking lawn chairs and then spraying them with a garden hose which is not only a funny visual but it shows that he and his father are now talking about his sex life and communicating in general. Again, a good sign.

3 - Dale Harkin, the big client lost due to lack of technology is seen being introduced to Dan's boss at their office. Everyone is smiling, with a focus on Dan, indicating that they are going to close the deal and the company is saved along with Dan's job perhaps.

I only saw the movie once so there are probably many more signs pointing to a happy life or maybe even suicide but these are what I recall.

No. There is no suggestion of suicide.
