Offended Christians
I'm pretty sure that this got a bad rating from Baptists who don't take kindly to being mocked.
There isn't a good reason other than that for this well written and acted piece to be rated so low.
I'm an antitheist and I expected this to be at least funny. And I'm rockwell fan. But nothing. It had nothing to make it watchable
shareI don't think this movie made a big enough splash to offend anyone. It certainly would've gotten a little more press if religious groups were up in arms about it. They've been such an easy target for decades, there is almost no sport in trying to offend them. Plus, although I am not Christian - I'd rather have Conservative Christian as a neighbor than an Atheist Liberal.
Also, the media doesn't really care about Christians anymore, Muslims are the hot ticket these days.
I thought this movie was excellent and Rockwell terrific like always. Different strokes, I guess.
