Ruined by jump scares and too early reveals

But Thomas Jane was brilliant! Even more than Jim Jones and Waco guy he copied Jim Morrison. And it worked perfectly!
In fact, everything that's in the past was fantastic!
Too bad that the present was sub par even for modern horrors.
