shareThat's because he's of Mexican descent and is really proud of it - but he is NOT just a "Latino Comedian" - any more than Jerry Seinfeld is a "Jewish Comedian".
He's damn funny - so if you don't think he's funny you need to find out why - and maybe get fixed.
Not only is he funny and very talented but Gabriel Iglesias has got to be one of the funniest and hardest working comics. While I also like Kevin Hart, he is miles behind Gabriel and just not at the same level of talent. I should also mention that he is one of the nicest celebs and appreciates his fans, friends and family. He does lots of charity work and has toured into combat zones to entertain members of our armed forces. He is a dynamic combination and whether I am listening to him on radio or watching him on cable, television or YouTube, he never fails to make me smile and laugh.
Finally, please post your address so I can send you a dollar to go buy a clue.
Thank you for responding in such a responsible way. I just saw the movie, albeit, very few in the theatre, but it was a matinee on a Wed. Because of this, we few FANS were extremely relaxed and able to laugh out loud without disturbing anyone nearby.
Gabriel is, and has been, one of my very favorite comedians. He's suburb. He's so wonderfully adept at making the right sounds, giving off just the right faces, and lastly, keeping it clean. It takes an intelligent person to appreciate most humor that's clean, and he has it in spades. I feel everyone has their idea of what's funny, but this other gentleman must be from outer space. I kept thinking how thankful I was that he lost 100 lbs., because I'd be miserable if he died, like my other favorite, who was obese, and used to always say, "but I'm starvin'".
I was going to reply, but I couldn't have said it better myself. I agree 100%.

shareApparently some just don't have a sense of humor I guess. Gabriel has got to be one of the most overlooked and unappreciated comics I've ever seen. To compare him to Kevin Hart is just not logical. 2 totally different styles of comedy. While I personally don't care for Hart, doesn't mean he's not funny. He's black so therefore he does a lot of black related humor, doesn't mean it's not funny, just means some people don't get it or know how to interpret it, probably because their white. Same goes for English Comics, I guarantee if an American went to see and English comedian, it'd be more or less the same thing. We all find certain things funnier than others.

shareI agree. I just watched The Fluffy Movie on Netflix and I honestly don't get the appeal of this guy. Aziz Ansari and Donald Glover are much funnier.
