Does anyone else think the writers chickened out? The safe, hollywood happy ending ruined it for me.
The message would have been more powerful if they actually let Vee die from the gunshot, all the audience got their names on their phone and were named an accessory to murder. Then they sign out and all reflect on themselves.

I disagree. Everyone thought she died anyway so it still had the same impact on them.
