What about the end?

I really enjoyed this film, but I didn't like the end. Quite silly.
Hopefully there will be a sequel that explains who entered to the WC. Maybe the woman?.. I was thinking about a final fight with the woman.

Spoilers ahead!

I can see your point - you didn't like the ending because it isn't clear and we're left wondering what happened and how it happened. But try to look at this from another angle.

Have you seen Scorsese's Shutter Island or Nolan's Inception? Those endings are still killing me and god knows how much time I've spent reading fan theories. People wrote huge analytical articles reviewing everything step by step to get to the truth. But the truth is - the director's idea was to leave us wondering & to answer those questions ourselves. Which means that any option has an equal chance to be correct.

In Traders - the ending is a bit simpler, because we kind of get it. "That's how I've spent the last 4 months of my life" clearly states that he lost a trade in the end... And his eyes were the eyes of an addicted gambler who doesn't realise (yet) that he can't actually stop, although he promised himself many times that "that will be my last trade".

And it doesn't really matter if that woman killed him or anyone else. He couldn't stop, his greed + adrenaline overwhelmed Harry. And that's what got him killed.

I just got done watching this on TV, didn't see the very beginning, I caught it right when Vernon was showing the Video.

It was a good but dark end, they gave the answer to the question easily I think, but it wasn't about that. Like you said, it was about the Greed and the stance with the head down, eyes closed, then the way he opened them when the door opened. He couldn't stop, gambling always comes to an end..

When he said "The last 4 months" I instantly thought of the movie Repo Men, which gave away the end very early in the movie by narrating a similar phrase.
