Anyone here feels he just tries a bit too hard?

I like the guy, I used to love him in the Jon Stewart show but somehow he seems to try every little thing he can to be loved by liberals. Even to the point of doing the whole "Harambe" meme.

I like him and maybe it is just me but it sometimes strikes me that he would be way funnier if he came a little bit to the center/left instead of going the bill Maher way and just go full baby killer on us.

His bias has gotten annoying; I hope he'll stop his obsession with Trump soon. I used to enjoy watching because he would bring up issues that aren't well known around the country. If all he's doing every episode is railing against Trump, there won't be any real reason to watch anymore. You can get that same information from dozens of other places already.

He obviously has a serious agenda against Trump. I get why but it was overkill. I watch the show for more than that. Much more.

Obviously he didn't get his point across about Trump; so I guess he didn't do it enough.
Otherwise, the US wouldn't have voted a corrupt game show host as their president.

He got his point about Trump across plenty. He was screaming and yelling endlessly about how Trump's last name was "Drumpf" and he said "Dump Drumpf!" Ha ha, isn't that clever? He also went on and on about how anyone who supported Trump was a racist idiot and how could someone not vote for Hillary unless they're one of those horrible Bros? I think he got his point across plenty...and then liberals who agree with him are left scratching their head wondering how other liberals could possibly not understand this? Oh, wait, this didn't inspire anyone to vote? I wonder why? Maybe if he just yelled louder or delivered more hilarious lines like "Dump Drumpf."

No, he just showed us that he is like the rest of the Hollywood left who simply cannot see a world outside of their little bubble. I find it interesting that those who profess to be all-inclusive are in fact the most isolated people in the world. I recall one millenial who didn't understand the outcome because she simply did not know a single person who voted for Trump. Well, she might, but they wisely kept their mouth shut to avoid the incessant bullying, or she has completely isolated herself from any part of the world which disagrees with her viewpoint. I live in Portland which is a very diverse community. We have nearly every type of white person you can imagine.
