I felt sad watching this.

I never liked Pauly Shore and it seems like he's gay and lonely. And his mother is a legend and he is the only reason why he got anywhere. And she's sick. She's a legend. He's my age and we both look similar...sickly now.

Just in being in your 40's and having sex is impossible if your single. And having a friend if you have a friend at all. If you don't work out your life before 40 after 40 sucks. Pauly talks about it in this film. I take back about him being gay just effeminate.
I'm getting there.

Guess it depends on the individual re. sex, age, and no partner but some of his melancholy is what a lot of us go through with aging parents. It's a tough time and squabbles with siblings aren't uncommon when the parents don't have clear directives.

Did learn lots of fun stuff about prostates.

I felt like Pauly came across as being pretty much down to earth for a guy in show business. Like most of us, we have our ups and downs in life and he seems like he is dealing with them just fine. He looks very relaxed in front of an audience so I would have to agree with him when he says something to the effect that as long as he has a microphone in his hand and can get up and tell jokes he will be ok.

I too was never a fan of the 'weasel' but watching this I felt a little sorry for him. He doesnt seem like a happy person. Just someone who is watching his life and career sort of fade, knowing he has nothing else to fall back on and not a lot to look forward to.

There's that scene where he's under the marquee for another comedian, asking why he can book 1,200 seat auditoriums while he can only do 300 seat.

I had so many answers I wanted to shout out to him.

But his joke about being babysat by Kinison was funny.

"Thanks mom. What, was Charles Manson out of your fnkcing price range?!?!?"

Also, he's still a celeb. He should be able to get laid. Especially in Wisconsin or Minnesota.

you guys are so naive it is unbelievable.

a documentary like this is mostly written, staged, preplaned etc. Pauly is a cool guy but is pretty evident that he wanted to present a certain image of himself in this documentary. his mission was: book a minesota tour (which he didnt need moneywise) show the audience how down to earth I am (I am great with fans, my mom is sick, I have a prostate problem) and that is GOOD BUSINESWISE!!!! that is it!

he is a millionare and he is happy in real life.

he just went to phuket, asia to resort and *beep* a tons of chicks and live like a king. he talked about this on the opie and anthony radio show.
