Is It So Wrong That ......

.... I have NEVER wanted to see 6 twelve year old girls die more quickly ??

This is a pre-teen version of 'Unfriended in the use of social media - except the girls are all in one (REALLY STUNNING) home. As much a commentary on a generations inability to communicate face to face and the obsession with cell phones.

But holey moley --- a more annoying cast of characters (adults included) I have rarely seen.

If this is what twelve year old girls are like now, I am glad I am well past that age.

Chloe Sevigny ?? What are you doing here ? And Timothy Hutton was once considered a really good actor ... what the flip is he doing OVERACTING in this movie. It made me laugh (is this whole movie an 'art installation' ?)and the killer was no surprise at all. When someone 'disappears' early in the movie (without an onscreen kill) ....HELLO KILLER !!

I am really not into the phone games and tweeting and Instagraming, so I didn't really get into it all that much. Plus all of the texts went by so fast I couldn't read them (I got the point though .... bully, bully, bully, b!thcy comment, b!tchy comment)

The 'Candy Crush'/phone game visuals were VERY distracting and I think negatively affected the movie. But not as much as those six 12 year old girls. WOW.

One extra star for the girls' mask dance where 'Sam' pulls off a good Little Edie Beale' act (headscarf and all). I laughed.

I agree, those phone visuals and their accompanying sounds drove me absolutely mad. I had to keep turning the volume down, then back up when they were talking, then back down when they were all shrieking! And I didn't even understand it, who was filming them and who killed the guy in the car?!
