shareWow, so glad I tried it out again. I actually had to struggle a bit through the whole first season (the characters are so over-the-top annoying) but I kept your words in mind and stuck it out and I'm so glad I did. Somewhere in the first few episodes of the second season I got totally addicted and now I'm bingeing the whole thing. I can't decide whether Catherine O'Hara's character or Dan Levy's character is my favorite. I think it's Catherine O'Hara. Her character was just driving me crazy, with the forced, undefinable accent and the narcissism and the insane clothes and lurid makeup, and then at some point it was as if she took off a mask and suddenly all the over-the-topness fell into place and made sense and the character has all of these layers. The woman is a genius.

shareYes, try again. I also started it and dropped it after about 6 episodes. I tried it cuz I loved Eugene Levy for a long time, but got too busy and it was not in my top ten.
Then last year saw how much my sister and a bunch of my friends loved it and tried it again during quarantine and loved it!
I binged five seasons and cant wait for the last one to come out! Every award overdue and well deserved!
And how fabulous was Dan's outfit tonight?!?!?
It's not everyone's kind of humor, but I definitely enjoyed it.
The first few seasons were good. Faded towards the end.
it's good. it makes you laugh, which is the point of a comedy. a little bit dumb, but great acting from the 4 leads and Chris Elliott.
but it's winning all the awards becaues the competition is pretty weak.
