Dan Levy confirmed on instagram that season 6 will be the last. Well that was it folks.

That sucks, JUST started watching it the other night and have really been enjoying it more and more. These actors are amazing in these roles...every one of them.
God the daughter is so hot, goddang...

I encourage you to keep watching at least until season 4, that is the peak of the show. Alexis (the hot daughter) has the most well fleshed-out character arc that season. Lots of growth & character development.

Well the more episodes I watch...I think I'm up to seven now, the more I like the show. The characters seem to grow on you. I like the son...and also the Mom...she does a great job, it looks like she's having fun.
Yeah I'll keep it up, thanks leader. Season 4, huh?
So glad to have found this little show...it'll be fun getting there =]

I didn't even know this show existed until I heard it was cancelled in its sixth year!

It wasn't cancelled though. They decided to end the show on their terms which is completely different than the network cancelling them.

I am not so sure. There is a high chance the network just gave the show runner the chance to make that announcement in order to save face, make it seem like it was his decision. It would not be the first time that has happened.

A lot of Canadian shows do that though. Go out while they are still enjoyed instead of waiting to be cancelled because no one watches anymore.

Loved this show. I'm glad I have a lot more episodes to go since its been cancelled. Honestly I didn't think it would last as long as it did.
