Do they ever change their clothes?

Am I the only one who finds it really weird and dumb that they literally wear the same outfits 24/7, every episode?

I know this is PR we're talking about here and we can go into a whole debate about how dumb of a staple it is that the rangers always color coordinate their civilian clothes to their ranger colors practically screaming out "I'm a Power Ranger!" to the public. But I just find it weird that they never really change clothes. My friend pointed this out to me and I thought they did change their clothes because I think Shelby use to wear pants and in a recent episode i saw she's wearing daisy dukes (hey, no complaints there). But I realized that both outfits are from different seasons (her pants = Dino Charge, her daisy dukes = Dino Super Charge) and that they actually have been wearing the same stuff all season.

Not to make a big deal out of it because it isn't but I just thought that was a weird realization. I know some people may try to defend it and say that they've done that before with past rangers but that's not true. Any fan knows that they would wear different outfits every episode like normal people do except they always wore their ranger color up until Disney owned the rights and had every team wearing matching black leather jumpsuits for some reason (Ninja Storm to RPM). But I even realized in PR Samurai and Megaforce that they wore the same clothes all the time too like cartoon characters so I guess it's just a thing with Nickelodeon owning them now maybe. Idk but you'd think they could afford different wardrobe for the actors in the budget.

Nope.

22 seasons and the power rangers always wear whatever color their suit is, and no bad has ever figured this out.

Well, with rare exception (e.g. dressing for a wedding) the Cartwrights on Bonanza wore the same outfits for 20 years - Ben & Hoss in vests, Adam in black shirt, Little Joe in green coat. For years on Gunsmoke Matt wore that pink shirt under a vest & Festus wore that same ratty hat.

And the Rangers change costume every episode - civvies and Ranger suit. 8-)

But if you want to have Claire Blackwelder appear in a purple bikini, I am all for it ;-)

they change their outfits more often than the characters did in Megaforce.

I used to be indecisive. Now, I'm not so sure.

This happened in Lightspeed Rescue as well, and I believe Time Force and Wild Force.

Not completely true with Lightspeed. Most of the time they were on duty and wore their Lightspeed uniforms. Episodes when they were off duty, such as when they were at the beach, they wore bathing suits. As for Time Force, Wes had different clothes, but the others found clothing after they settled in the clock tower, and wore that most of the time.
