END OF EXTINCTION (02x19/20): Why didn't JAMES ask KEEPER...

I was asking myself the same thing. I thought James would've gone back to his time as well and then meet up with Tyler after that. I'm guessing that would've caused him to age and therefore no longer be bound to the Energem. Also if he'd have to fight he'd probably wouldn't be as nimble as when he was younger.
