Would the season have been better if...

... they had used one of the concepts introduced in the finale from the beginning? I'm talking about having the RANGERS in the pre-historic age and having an alternate timeline where dinosaurs didn't extinct. I don't know if it would've been better, but such a late introduction in a not-very-original season felt disappointing.
