I have lots of questions about this film- spoilers

Well where to start. I have many holes to pick at with this film.

1- How did she change her hair colour so often, her hair was never wet when she met him as either herself or her twin, and sometimes there wasn't even that much time between visits.

2- Why did she have to leave her house and come back dressed as Linda, then walk around the house like a stranger who had never been there before.

3- So she bought/rented a motel room, new clothes, a car, accessories, where did all the money come from to buy all of this, she wasn't even working that much.

4- When Linda and Jack had sex, didn't he notice that her body looked the same as his wives did, every spot, dimple, mole, scare, cut, bruise, freckle. Every single part of her would be exactly the same as Kate's, because they were the same person.

5- What happened about Jack just suddenly disappearing, surely this would be big news as he seemed like quite a big deal in his lawyers firm, so how did Kate explain him just not being there anymore, surely she wouldn't get any life insurance money from him, as his body wouldn't be found (i'm assuming) so she would have to wait at least 7 years.

Of all the things that made this film unbelievable the hair thing was the one that really didn't have any explanation. Of course, when you're watching it for the first time you don't really take note of the time lapses between when he saw her with dark hair and then lighter hair but I'm sure such a quick change i.e. she obviously had naturally dark hair so the process of lightening it every time she became the "other" sister just wasn't feasible/possible. I'm sure it would take some sort of bleaching process to go from dark to light (you couldn't do it with a wash in/wash out colour) which would mean having to keep recolouring every time and doing it that many times I'm sure her hair would have fallen out and certainly varied in shade all the time. Be interesting to get a hairdresser's opinion on that.

OK, I know we have to just accept certain things in films for the sake of a story but this was pushing it a bit too far.

Makes it all nonsense in my opinion.

Watching it now and I was thinking the same thing. One minute he is arguing with his wife while cleaning up glass then he is at the hotel telling the twin to go back to Buffalo. The mind is a crazy thing but one minute you feel bad for the wife but wow she had some serious Jedi mind tricks
