So Good...(SPOILER ALERT!!!)

This movie was (surprisingly) good for Lifetime. I'm not going to knock Lifetime moves. Lifetime movies are my guilty pleasure. We all know they're usually a little cheesy with cheesy titles like "The Surrogate" or "Her Best Friend's Husband." And I usually know what the movie is about just from the title, but I watch it anyway. Lifetime movies are my guilty pleasure.

I turned to this movie about 30 minutes into it, but I have to say, I thought I had this one figured out as soon as "Linda" said she could easily take over Kate's life. But the ending was a total shock to me. I thought it was a little strange that Linda and Kate were never in a scene together since I know the filmmaking technology around today could make it possible.

Kate spent a long time describing to her husband her first meeting with Linda and, as a writer and student of film/stage, I thought, "why wouldn't they (the filmmakers) just SHOW the meeting rather than have Kate describe it?" But my answer to myself was that this was a low-budget Lifetime movie and they didn't have CGI money in the budget or the time it would take to have Sonya play both parts in a scene. Silly me!? But I'm glad my education failed me in this instance.

The endings of most movies leave me disappointed. This one didn't. I LOVE it when that happens!

Really? I got suspicious ias soon as Kate didn't show up to meet with them at Jacks office. Then when it didn't show Linda and Kate's meeting together, I was convinced.

Like you said, it's not hard with today's technology to put the two in a scene together so I found that extremely weird.

Never the less, good movie!

I like this Lifetime movie. I follow them regularly. It was a long time before I realised what was going on. So it is a well disguised mystery in the main.

Lifetime movies are great overall.

I don't get the people who make fun of them. You know what you are getting. It's not like they are trying to make The Godfather.
