Wtf Why Is She Fat?

reply

Okay, either you're real shallow and have extremely high body standards or you're jokingly talking about the guy. If it's the latter, it's not funny. Good try, just not effective.

reply

You're saying she's fat? You must have a lot of scrawny women in your part of the world.

reply

She's not fat, you just have unhealthy ideas of how women should look.

Don't you lay a hand on my Sasquatch!

reply

Well it's getting close. Let's see if her being fat is such a big issue

reply

Polynesians are naturally stocky.

There are alot of Fijians, Samoans, Tongans etc that live here in Australia, pretty much every one of them I've seen is stocky or fat

Adjust your face; take your time, because it's about to be rocked off - permanently

reply

But I'm sure there are some thin ones too. Oh well I guess we will see how it turns out.

reply

She's not. It's the animation style. It's clearly a nod to the style of Lilo and Stitch, but not as extreme.

reply

It's not a nod to Lilo and Stitch. They just both are Polynesians with accurate body types.

reply

Lili and stitch had overly exaggerated body feature; so much so that I STILL haven't watched that movie because the animation comes off as ridiculous. Moana looks ok fat, but she would look terrible in Lilo style.

reply

No. Not "fat". Just ethnographically accurate. Many South Pacific ethnic groups have large bones, sturdy physiques and curly hair. Google some pictures of Dwayne Johnson's grandfather, Peter Maivia (also a professional wrestler). The man had a build like a locomotive; no one would ever call him "fat".

1. She's not fat.

2. You're an idiot troll.

WE GOT MOVIE SIIIIIGN!

reply

She may be the most full figured Disney princess we have ever had.

reply

Makes you wonder if the live action sequel will make her the same way

reply

The country needs a better definition of what healthy looks like.

Trying to create a channel based on interpreting, reviewing, and even giving you something to laugh about film. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance.

I agree. We also need to redefine beauty because Hollywood has impressionable people convinced there is a narrow definition of it.

reply

I've decided that Moana's fatness is just a muscular woman. We will just take it for what it is.

reply

Except Moana isn't fat at all. I actually think most girls would kill to have her waist.

reply

Well it’s nice that they came out with a fat princess. Not sure we will get another princess film for a while. I mean, a new princess film. Not a sequel.
