Do you think James Franco will get nominated an Oscar?

He doesn't look a thing like Wiseau and his accent is even worse. Nominating him for an Oscar will take away the last teeny bit of respect the Oscars might still have had.

I think he deserves an Oscar nomination based on having seen it two hours ago, but the only other SAG nominee I've seen is Daniel Kuluuya and I firmly believe Jake Gyllenhaal deserves a nomination for Stronger which it's apparent now he won't get. I do wonder what Oldman, Washington, and Chalemet's performances are like.

Best Actor oscar is always a competitive category to break into. I liked Franco's performance and movie a lot but I feel like guys like Gary Oldman, Tom Hanks, Daniel Day Lewis, Timothee Chalamet, and Denzel Washington are going to get nods over him.

More like Razzie. He was terrible in the role. If they were going to make this movie an older eastern European man should have been hired for the role.

Could be possible. But like the other poster mentioned, Best Actor seems to be a tough category to get into for the Oscars.
