Season 2 was awful (SPOILERS)

Amazingly stupid. Dumb characters who constantly do dumb things, the new "son" who adds nothing to the show outside being a complete douche, I was baffled at how bad this was.

And so Danny had a son and didn't tell the rest of his family why? Except his dad? Why?
Makes zero sense, especially since his family would have taken care of his son.

And Eric can prove John killed him because he has a piece of jewelry? How does that prove anything? He could have bought it at a store himself. It's absurd.

Marco wants to implicate the people who were his family for last 5 years and his long time partner all of a sudden why?

I hated this season. Will not watch season 3. I had to fast foward through a lot of boring conversations to get this this.

Mom: Do you want some dinner?

Meg: Oh, I'll just have a salad.

Mom: How was your day?

Uhhhggggg.

1. Not really sure what show you were watching, but the son was integral in explaining who Danny was, why he did what he did to get money, what happened to his restaurant, and in providing a more sympathetic view of the character. He was also needed to bring Ozzie and Eve into the plot. Not to mention adding more layers of intrigue, suspense, and overall interest to the show.

2. The Rayburn family is the prototypical dysfunctional family - that's the whole underlying theme of the story. There are tens of thousands of such families all over America, and I'm sure many of them have close relatives of which, for one reason or another they're unaware.

3. The seahorse necklace is what's known as evidence. Compelling, incriminating evidence. Solving cases doesn't always come down to DNA like it does in shows like CSI. In fact, it rarely does.

4. Marco was following the orders of his boss, the sheriff, and the law. Plus, he had just had a very bitter break-up with Meg. He originally tried to persuade the Aguirre not to pursue the Rayburn angle, but was unsuccessful.

Also, if you are the real Harold Baines, I was a big fan. You were a great hitter. Not so much as a TV critic, though.

Incredible reply, I'm your number 1 fan.

I'm the opposite to the OP.
I love Season 2 far more than Season 1.
Maybe because John carried Season 2, and I find his character more interesting than Danny.
