(Spoilers) can someone explain the ending?

It seems the angry ghosts satiated themselves on all the idiots who provided fodder in the last 15 minutes. So what becomes of the couple? It seems the wife disappeared into the cellar presumably where her sons ghost now resides. Are they all dead now, giving up to be reunited with him?

The movie wasn't bad but is massively overhyped. It's a pretty obvious homage to The Beyond mixed with The Fog. Barbara Crampton is still looking great, God bless her mom and dad!

All I remember were old news clippings and a few seconds of the house empty.

It's not empty, there's a piano sound and a key in it moves. What does that mean? No idea

It all seemed to imply that they took over the house after their son returned... Never said the writing was good, lol.

I took it to mean Bobby is definitely present in the house and will stay there with his parents. The Dagmars aren't so friendly as to strike a key on the piano.
