Do evil spirits clean house? (spoiler, if such a movie can be spoiled)

When Daniella and Harry come to the house, they both take off their coats and put them on the long horizontal table behind the sofa. When Harry is killed in the basement, she runs upstairs and grabs her keys out of the jacket but leaves the jacket on the table.

When the foursome come home from dinner, they don't think the youngsters have been there and both their coats are gone. Is that a error or are ghost into house cleaning.

Possible house cleaning. Possible error. Either way, we don't know. Kindof reminds me of the moving/disappearing furniture in The Shining, (Room 237). Considering the fact this movie has a small Shining influence (Jack Nicholsons hair style), I wouldn't be surprised if the director did this intentionally- to confuse the viewer.

I assume they clean. The boy poured two classes of whiskey, but when the parents returned home the whiskey and class were also put back like they never moved.

After the girl dies, there's a quick shot of the whiskey tumblers empty and clean on the bar and then the basement door closing. We're supposed to infer that the spirits made it look like they were never there.

More importantly, are the spirits going to clean up all that bloody mess they created at the end of the movie? Or are they expecting somebody to send a cleaning crew?
