Are they sure they're seeing ghosts? Most of the film involves them drinking whisky. I am pretty sure they're too pissed to know what is going on.

it took a lot of qualifiers back in the day to be known as a certified alcoholic - nowadays people look at you funny if you get 3 beers while out to eat

shareLul same here, came here simply to see if anybody else made a post about it, it was quite humorous. In all the serious scenes I was half expecting somebody to randomly say "Get me a whiskey".

As I mentioned on another thread, the whiskey is like a whole other character. They're almost constantly drinking, but this was actually one of my favorite parts of the movie. Its so hilarious
And yet the snowy landscape and the warm cozy (albeit haunted) house with the endless supply of whiskey makes me want to be there
