She threw away that rose with note at work and rumbles through the trash at work. Then she runs to the dumpster which was at her apartment. How did it end up there

She definitely threw it away at her apartment...right after the scene of him threatening her at her front door. And she rumbles threw her trash at home...after meeting with the mother of the murdered girl... Then runs downstairs to the dumpster.
