Wasn't it supposed to be a 'small town' they're living in? He's so obvious, you'd think there would be eyes all over that town and he'd be more cautious about where and who he's seen talking to in public... I just find it hard to believe that in this small town he'd be so blatantly obvious about his affairs.

I was thinking the same thing. I couldn't believe the captain wasn't aware of his reputation. I'm sure he engaged outside of his home town but still. The husband seemed to be bold and probably would've gotten sloppy with someone else if Sandy hadn't stepped in.

Never do something permanently foolish just because you are temporarily upset!
