This movie so not so much bad as ...
...pathetic. I really couldn't work up a really good hatred of it.

I'm still laughing about the swamp nut pumping the non-pump action shotgun in the beginning. But beyond that really bad even by syfy standards, if the exist.
shareWell, it's got that slapstick comedy when we thought the old lady with the hearing aid was eaten, but next thing we know she comes out shooting. lol
shareIt was amusing how she was constantly smiling, even when there was a giant grunting fish waddling in her direction intent upon having her for dinner.
shareI'll have to agree with you both, she was funny.

I know they have a very low budget and rely on CGI for everything these days, but the part where the military has been called in to perform an airstrike on the swamp and they show brief footage of the Thunderbirds, the Air Force's precision air demonstration team in tight formation doing a roll... Really??? You guys couldn't at least find footage of an operational fighter or bomber? Even if it was F-4 footage over Vietnam, it would have been more appropriate then the Thunderbirds!
(Oh, and I also like how the Louisiana State Police don't wear patches, nametags, or any other insignia and only send in a couple of troopers to handle giant man-eating fish. And the Louisiana National Guard was off that day??)
"Where you are now, I once was; Where I am now, you soon shall be."
I'm glad I wasn't the only one that enjoyed the Thunderbird's brief cameo.
What sort of a man doesn't carry a trowel?
