Just binge watched the season...possible spoilers

This was a really great season....I caught this on Hulu Plus and they only have Season 2...I kept hearing that Season 1 is better and it does seem interesting so hopefully u can find it. But here are my thoughts...

#1 Amanda killing Kate...I know a lot of people feel that it was a last minute thrown together finale but there were a couple signs pointing to her. I 1st noticed it in the 1st episode when Cornel asks if Kate had been drinking and Amanda immediately says "Kate wasn't drinking." When I heard that it sounded like she already knew Kate was pregnant and wouldn't dare drink while being so. That's how I thought she was pregnant before Eric even said anything. She was also overly dramatic in the 1st episode. I get that it was her best friend but she was doing too much throughout the season.

#2 -This plot was quite intriguing it's a shame it got wasted on a 10 episode season when it could've been a stand alone show. They had a LOT going on and barely solved half of it and the information they did cover was very rushed. They could've expanded this show for at least a good 3 seasons and with all the crappy show's that are out, I would've watched that one.

#3 Why only 10 episodes? I notice that the 1st season was about 10 episodes as well...why so short? Are the ratings low? Small budget?

#4 Michael Ealy...I can't tell a lie I did start watching this show because of him. Not only because he is beautiful but because I like how he broke out of his usual mode as the "Pretty Guy Prince Charming" and is doing different types of roles. I like him playing the bad guy...he plays it well. I loved him in The Perfect Guy and I hear he was great in The Following. While I was pleased with his portrayal I do feel like he could've dug a little deeper. He was good but he definitely had the potential to be phenomenal

Last but not least...Juliette...I haven't really seen her do much. I only remember her from Enough with Jennifer Lopez. She was interesting in the show but I must say her speech annoys me. She talks so slow and dull....I'd hate to have her as a teacher...I'd cry...or fall asleep. But nonetheless Cornell has grown on me I'd love to see what happens in the next season

I have really enjoyed both seasons of this series and I hope they continue with it. I will agree that 10 episodes seem short when there is more than enough suspense and drama to have a full season, but sometimes short and sweet can be good...
If you like Michael then you should DEFINITELY try and watch season 3 of THE FOLLOWING he is pretty amazing in it.

Beginnings are always messy.

in the UK 10 episodes would be more than enough for a season- most Broadchurch etc is 6-8 weeks - i find the US 22 eisode season is usually too long

We just binge-watched, too, thanks to Roku and On Demand. We watch so much TV that I'd completely forgotten about watching the first season over a year and a half ago. I got knee surgery right after that, so a lot of 2015 is sort of a blur for me.

Anyway, I was about to decide that Kate really did kill herself after all, once she realized she'd married into the Family From Hell.

I knew a man, over 30 years ago, who maintained two households, one with his wife and 5 growing or grown already kids, and one with his mistress. Though "mistress" isn't exactly the right term, because she wasn't "kept" in any way and had to work to get by. He'd have his lady friend drive him to the airport, walk through, and have his wife pick him up on the other side. The other woman gave up her life, practically, to be with him. She had little contact with her two sons and, when I knew her, she had grandchildren she'd never seen.


