No Jack Bauer

I'll rewatch 24 thanks.

I can't see Imagine Entertainment and 20th Century FOX being too happy about being copied so obviously. :o

It will save me some viewing time!

The Jack Bauer series didn't invent the concept of "having a limited amount of time to do/stop something"... that's kinda old, and was used in a lot of movies from the 80s and earlier.

No problem with a tired and familiar story line, it's the blatant use of a title that makes you think it's related to the Jack Bauer shows. It's a copyright infringement.

reply

It's a copyright infringement.

No it's not. Not even close.

It may be lazy/deceptive/whatever else you want to call it... but it's perfectly legal.

Trademark infringement is a form of Copyright infringement, and this ain't even close. It's blatant trademark infringement. Just wait for either the lawsuit or this turd of a project gets a name change for no particular reason.

LOL. You sound confused. It's perfectly legal to have a similar name as a TV show or other movie. Just look at how many duplicate names there are in imdb... nobody said you have to be original in this business.

Look at the proposed poster, then look at yer DVD copy of any season of 24. It's EXACTLY the same.

Son, you can't polish a turd

Really? Is it EXACTLY the same? Because they used a digital clock font and a man with a gun? LOL... come on, that TV show didn't invent anything new, and they don't hold a copyright on a font or showing a man with a gun. You can say this movie is being unoriginal all you want, but that's not something you can take to court.

A 24 hour race against the clock to stop terrorists in Los Angeles.... Yeah, its totally not copyright....
