Autism

Why is it that this is a recurring trope in story lines. All the clever hackers in the world who need to be dealt with in an adult way [imprisonment in the real world cases ongoing] seem to end up being Asperger level Autistic. Not like my grandchildren who are more teenage nappy eating autistic. Are any of those who act as the autistic person actually autistic or would that be something similar to herding cats.

I await the obvious hate from the relatives of such but it is getting to be a bit boring and lazy writing.

I will say though that what I saw of the series TOUCH was well directed with it really being about the parent working the things out.

Very loving, caring way to talk about grandchildren. 

Did you have a point? I truly do not understand your complaint.

The kid from Touch was well acted, but his dad and the premise of the government trying to remove Jake from his father's care was beyond ridiculous. Group homes cost the government about $6000/month. If a parent is willing to keep a child in their home, the government is going to say yippee and walk away. The fact that Jake was being targeted by a corporation doesn't make any difference, the dad should have know that no government agency could take Jake away from him just because he was difficult or different. The kid may have been autistic, but the dad was presented as a doofus.
