The band on this show

Whenever I see the female guitarist when they begin the show, she's smiling, staring straight forward, is playing one single chord, and doesn't move a muscle. If she has to change chords, she nervously peeks at her left hand, makes an adjustment, then resumes her expression.
The guy who plays next to her looks at this hands and grooves around while he's playing. Does this woman actually know how to play the guitar above some rudimentary level? She's pretty. Is she somebody's wife, gf, sister, daughter? She looks barely competent on the electric guitar.

Anybody know the story on this?
