Lance Armstrong was cricified because he is a world class jerk

not because he took PEDs. They all do it, so it isn't like he was the only one, gaining an edge on everyone else. Of the finishers in the last Tour de France that he won, you would have to go all the way down to 8th place to find a guy that was never busted for PEDs, and that was just he was never caught, not that he never did it.

Lance Armstrong was brought down because of his huge ego and he felt the need to spit in the eye of anyone and everyone who dared to question him. If he was a good guy that would have been an ambassador for the sport, everyone would have looked the other way, just like they do for countless other professional athletes that have gotten a little extra help through chemistry.
