Like the show, couple of things...

-The starvation happened historically. They ran low on rations, crops failed due to the different climate, there were many dangers in the bush and foreign species to them, in the show we see the fish nets had been slashed by natives.

-I'm thinking the show will conclude with a hanging because they've teased it enough and those two can only have so many lives...

-Marston was only picking on one person... Therefore everyone else kept to themselves out of fear he would turn on them and take their food. He was a bully and bullies often get away with it.

-as much as I felt bad for MacDonald he really did a good job at pushing Kitty away. She was finally free of prostitution and happy and he begged her to F the major. Bad move... But still feel sorry for him but I do ship Ross and Kitty. Also, I'd say Kitty came from a middle class family and she did work in a great house for a Lord. She likely was a polished maid.

-I was surprised Anne turned on James as well but she has a great fear of informers due to her special gift... She could be called a witch.

- I'm ok without nudity and there was one hot sex scene.

-We are only seeing a 2 week timeframe and McGovern has said if we got a series 2 there would be a chance to introduce indigenous people- which I agree would be awesome.

They haven't been there long enough to know enough or cultivate the land. They would need help from Aboriginals (series 2 if we get one)

-Stop it with the hangings already. 6 episodes and 3 hangings that get stopped at the last moment (assuming they're not going to kill of one of the leads in the conclusion of this last one)

Agreed. Too many last minute reprieves. Especially annoying when you know that the stars of the show aren't gonna get killed so why milk it. If anyone gets brought to the noose again, I think I will actually start cheering for a death

-If Marston was stealing from everyone and everyone was happy to see him go, that would have had one easy fix. Gang up on him Full Metal Jacket style...

-That Kitty sure is quite something. Her guy did absolutely nothing to deserve what she did. So much for true love... She seems a little too educated as well.

I understand what they're trying to do with that storyline but it wasn't convincing at all. The idea that you fall out with your boyfriend then run into the arms of the man that has been raping you twice a week, is pushing believability. It could have been done far better for sure

-Anne...also quite a bitch. Did nothing to show even some slight gratitude towards James.

True but understandable

-Could do with some nudity. Or at least not cut out all sex entirely, because there is a lot of talk about it and storylines hinging on it so it seems rather unbalanced and prudish not to show some.

Doesn't bother me

-I hope there will be a second season and that they will introduce Aboriginals.
