Agree with all the "huh?" posts, but...

So I know I'm late to the party, but I just saw this today. I agree that it was one of the most convoluted stories, but I mostly get what was going on with some HUGE exceptions that I sort of overlooked just to get the gist. One thing that I truly can't fix in my head, no matter how much symbolism/time-skipping I do is the part where Share confronts the rapist boys with a gun. You see her being all badass, and then you see a bunch of people in handcuffs and she's being taken away. Then, in a few minutes, she's just saying goodbye to Grace. Why is she not in jail? What happened there? All that said, kudos to Raven Simone for a truly chilling performance. I'm glad I watched the movie, and perhaps it's greatest merit is making people talk about it, even if we're confused. Just my two cents.
