in terms of quality, comparing it with wes craven flicks, i'd rather say "my soul to take" though ;)

also reminded me a tiny bit of BLACK CHRISTMAS (either version). i REALLY liked his movie. such a nice surprise.

Personally, it reminds me of 2 movies "The Burbs" and "Nothing But Trouble". It's been around 10 years since I've watched either of those 2 films so my memory of them may be way off.

I think there are several famous movies about people hiding in the walls or basement or crawlspace or attic, but it still was so original to me. I've never seen it played out so well in terms of humor and scares.

Did you guys ever hear of the guy in Tokyo that was irked that it seemed his food was slowly disappearing? So he put in a security camera and found there was a woman living in a cupboard in his home! Fricken terrifying! She was not harming him but she was always there! I heard it happened in NYC too, but don't know if it is a hoax.
