Oh cmon. What's with the stunt double...

Even for scenes where there is no action? Like walking out of the Danube Blues Club...It's his double. Can someone explain to me why his double hasn't got his own damn movie contract since Seagal is hardly appears in his own movies.

I don't think I can finish this one. His double is everwhere it's distracting!

I don't believe in Santa Claus. But I would really like to believe that Steven Seagal is the one kicking ass!

He is too fat to do anything lol. Hence Doubling in the film xD

"I wonder if his corpse will be a body double too... Because a casket mechanically strong enough to hold his corpulent self will be too expensive to construct, much less pallbearer-friendly!"

That was funny!

I'm surprised to see how big he became. He was such a disciplined determined man. He was a real martial artist. An Aikido master.

When he started making movies in the late 80's he was the real deal. I liked some of the films he made until the late 90's. The Glimmer Man was good.

I have not seen this film. After looking at the IMDB rating and a few comments I think I'll give it a pass.

He's still scary, imagine if the fat twunt fell on you.

This is hilarious. Like some mentally challenged Marlon Brando.

He has to use a double because he's a fat turd who's too old and out of shape to do anything. It's just pathetic.

reply

Yeah, it's kinda sad. Some scenes I feel embarrassed for good ol' Stevie, especially those scenes with the girl where they kiss and later where she wants to dance with him but he is just sitting on the couch like a big couch potato.

It is what it is. Seagal is too overweight and out of shape to do many of his own fighting stunts anymore. That's why his movies are better when he has a sidekick now. I notice Van Damme doing the same thing though he still does most of his own stunts. The older these guys get, the healthier it is for them to leave the fighting to the younger guys. Of course Mann isn't any spring chicken and he's not exactly a martial artist anyway so I'm sure much of his stunts are a double as well. .

Holy crap that was funny, not often I genuinely laugh out loud at a YouTube video. At times like these I wish my brother was still around as he was a connoisseur of bad movies and would have really appreciated that dubbing.

"I'm not sure about the voice-dubbing. I downloaded Under Siege 2 recently from youtube and the pirated quality was fair but Seagal's voice was dubbed. It sounded nothing like him. In the original film he used his own voice. I couldn't watch it for this reason."

Solution: Don't download movies off YouTube.

tempura-2 I went through the whole movie not noticing any stunt double and I am glad I don't notice these sort of things as easily as you or others do in movies. Not once did feel distracted by any stunt double being in the movie that was supposedly there.

It is a known fact that SS normal movement speed is way too fast for the human eye to catch, So they use the SS double to make the movie watchable. :)
