best seagal movie in 15 years/except the sleazy sex scene

or well, he did a movie with the same asian actor in 03 who was on par with this.

and fun to see ukraine, since i
want to visit that place someday.

BUT then in the end,just like in another one of his movies this last year he has some nasty sex scene in the end?!?!

i didnt have time to turn it off the last movie,but this time i was lucky enough to turn the movie off just as what i can imagine was going to be a sex scene and the 20yo something girl that was in the movie.

whats up with that steven? do you really feel that you need to do that???

there was no sex scene in the end they just hugged. probably because of the creeper factor by SS.

and sorry to burst your bubble but this movie wasn't filmed in Ukraine. There is an on going civil war there and Odessa is not the nicest of places to visit and/or film at the moment. There are risks in traveling to eastern Ukraine because of the war between the Russian irregular forces and the Ukrainian forces in the eastern areas.

While tourists are unlikely to be the intended targets of violence, current protests cause complications to visitors, since services are disrupted. Odessa is in the southern region of Ukraine but still not that far from the east and close to the Crimea region.

the panoramic scenes of the movie are of that to some other b movie/action filmed in europe these days, are in Bucharest which is on the Dâmbovița river. Hence the name of the club in English (Danube) on going theme of the movie. Which is Romania.

Also the actress Nadia (Adina Stetcu) is a local Romanian, as well as a majority of the extra's.

Nice wee shot of Nice, in the South of France, as an establishing shot for Odessa... Recognised it immediately as we had lovely pizza one of the clearly visible restaurants, last year...

That actor is Byron Mann,this the third time they have worked together. Mann was also in a Dangerous Man. I am glad Seagal gave him a chance because usually he does not let any other martial arts actors shine(Gary Daniels and Darren Shalavi for example)

I agree though this is his best movie in years

Says pretty much if this is Seagulls best movie in years I guess.... Funny thing is that the most outrageous thing in this for me was Seagal getting together with the girl in the end hahaha, that is sooo out there!

Seagals last really good movie Exit Wounds.

In dtv realms it would have to be.....Nothing. Well That one called Urban Justice was good but that's like putting perfume on a pig.

In the end it Nostalgia that brought me to Absolution. A terrible movie.

I would say it's the best of his movies since Born to Raise Hell (2010), which was better.
