S3E8 Maura as a child, literal as not?
At first I was shocked to see young Maura with such long hair in 1958. Honestly, I don't think it would have been remotely acceptable or even possible for a boy to have such long hair. There's also the fact that she was played by a girl, which didn't reflect the reality either IMHO.
So, was the viewer seeing Muara's childhood through her own perspective? Was it some stylistic decision on the creators part to garner sympathy for her? Or, were we to believe that Maura really looked like that as a child in 1958?
