Okay, here it comes, drum roll.....Season 7 on the horizon
Looking forward to another outing with The Bosch Man.
Given I've read all the books, I have a sneaking suspicion where we might be heading in the final season but we'll see. Especially, because a previous season had a story line that affects Harry badly much later in the novel universe in which Harry often makes cameo appearances in other characters' books.
I'm wondering, because this is the first series to be written and filmed since the de-fund police movement, unrest around police issues and the rise of even city governments against cops, how will Connelly and his writing partner ever come up with a season this year that can thread the needle on all of these anti-cop issues?
Literally overnight, the country went from a TV character anti-hero cop being perfectly normal dramatic fare to a time when a cop shop at the LAPD might be a very problematic setting.
But it's going to be interesting to see how Connelly and Amazon et al handle this mine field that has been laid for their long-standing show.
What a challenge!
