Time to send the daughter away

Annoying

Yeah, sometimes. She's always pissed off at her dad just for being himself and having the job he has. She scolds him and acts like she has some more enlightened grasp of the way he should be. All the while, he's paying for her nice car and college.

This has to do with the books, but...

Michael Connelly said in an 11 March 2013 Q&A that, "Harry's in his early 60s now, and pretty soon he's going to have to retire, and so his daughter is getting increasingly bigger part in these stories. At some point things will shift and she will become the main focus of my writing."

Annoying in what way?

reply

100 Percent Agree....

So very annoying. I get so sick and tired of writers creating the indulgent, brilliant child that gets in trouble for stupid reasons or acts as an adult...becomes so annoying.

Notice how she looks “away”...I guess looking at her cue cards for her next line.

She was ok in season 1 with limited screen time. Tolerable in season 2. 3-5 she was progressively more awful. They seem to have realized that and she's less annoying again now in season 6.

Bosch is totally kid-whipped, as if his twenty-year-old twit daughter knows more and has more wisdom that he does. Ridiculous.
