Titus Welliver has taken over reading the Bosch audio books

Since Welliver was hired to play Bosch on the TV show, he has taken over reading the audio books from Len Cariou (the grandfather on Blue Bloods). This brings up an interesting possibility.
Michael Connelly, the author of the Bosch series, writes in a self-aware fashion in his books. In his books, he has the characters talk about movies made about their characters. For example, when Bosch encounters FBI agent Terry McCaleb, he talks about how McCaleb was played by Clint Eastwood in a movie. (It was the real movie Blood Work.) And when Bosch shares a novel with his half-brother Micky Haller, he talks about how Haller was played by Matthew McConaughey in a movie (The Lincoln Lawyer.)
So, when Connelly gets around to referencing the actor who plays Bosch on TV, Titus Welliver is going to have to mention himself when he reads the audio book.

I haven't read the latest Bosch book, yet. But, in the last one they didn't weave into the story that Bosch is a character on his own TV show.

It wasn't mentioned in the latest Bosch book either (Two Kinds of Truth). Maybe Connelly never will. Just thought it was an interesting idea.
