Watching this makes me miss The Wire

Just started watching this as it airs on regular old CTV here in Canada. Lt. Daniels and Marlo, two of the best characters from The Wire, heck with that all the characters on The Wire were the best!

I wonder how many more Wire cast members they can recruit? It's starting to look like a competition.

I don't think we will ever get over The Wire. Nothing will ever measure up to it. It makes me happy to see actors from The Wire on other shows though.

The really good new HBO show The Night Of... had Michael K Williams (the great Omar Little of course) and the guy who played Bodie, also great.

Hard to believe the amount of quality programs that have come up since 1999 (Sopranos debut).

Michael K. Williams also appears as Leonard in Amazon's "Hap & Leonard" series.

I don't think anything comes close to the beauty that was The Wire. I know that I'm supposed to explain why this is my opinion but honestly, there's not enough space here for it. Just an unbelievable series. IMHO.
