I just finished watching Southland and loved it. I noticed this show is about L.A. police force as well and thinking of giving it a go. For those that have seen both, does this show stack up with Southland or is it completely different and can't be compared?
shareObviously, they share certain similarities, just by being cop shows set in L.A. However, Southland was an ensemble show, featuring both uniform cops and plain clothes. Bosch focuses on a main character rather than an ensemble, and uniform cops do not get much attention.
I enjoyed both, and am looking forward to the next season of Bosch.

shareBosch is a nice show but it's different and not quite as good. I really love Southland and rewatched it a few times. I won't rewatch Bosch but it's definitely worth watching.
