One really stupid thing, with Alex

It really bugged me in one of the episodes, when Alex, newly out of "Dance House," gets called by American Ballet Theatre, with a request for him to dance Siegfried in SWAN LAKE. I'm sorry, but we've seen Alex dance a bit, and there's no way in hell he'd be dancing that role with ABT, or any professional ballet company. I'm disappointed with the show, to be so blatantly inaccurate. Well, the only reasonable scenario I can think of is if ABT were doing (as some companies do) a kind of comedy one-off performance, where they use humor to parody the ballet. Then, perhaps, they'd be happy to use Alex's new-found television celebrity, despite his lack of classical dance expertise.

Just make a movie that makes me care, one way or another. I'm open.

Hello.
As a former ballet dancer, it also annoyed me that they didn't picked a proper "ballerino" for the part. OK, there are not many male ballet dancers that can act or be compromise for a TV series, but please, you cannot expect us to believe that someone that don't practice much, to be called to do Siegfried for the ABT. The thing that ruined everything was that time when he improvised in the streets for money, you could clearly see that he is not a professional at all. :O

Unfortunately the more knowledge/expertise you have in a subject the more holes you're likely to spot....ignorance is bliss when you know little lol ;) I love this show
