I usually catch word of good shows pretty late. I saw MITJ after the 2cd season. I usually don't try new shows unless someone recommends it. I'll watch today and get back to you. Sounds intriguing.
You must of heard it before though right? It is a comedy-It is funny...But other ones that are more serious set in the 80's like The Americans + Halt + Catch Fire sure you heard of them

I saw the first episode of Red Oaks. It's pretty good but no MITJ. I'll try it a little longer. Thanks for the suggestion. I'm from the 60's so not exactly my generation. Currently in LA.

Well 60's + 70's isn't my generation as I wasn't born but still like them decades
But you was also brought up in the 80's as well so I'm sure you had a good time in that decade..................I have been to L.A and many other states and towns in the U.S over the years since a small kid in the 80's

I wouldn't say they are so different. Red Oaks definitely is more dramatic. But they have similar writing styles. I just finished watching Season 2 of RO. I just find Mozart more compelling. I will watch both next season (even if I can't come here to discuss them). I came from Amy Heckerlings heyday & you can see this is right up her alley. fun to watch, just not terribly original. And I found Catastrophe funnier. Haven't been to the UK but have travelled the Continent a few times.

from 1961. Yes Season 2. I still enjoy the show though. It seems both shows can only work for another season. I enjoy Amazon TV shows, I can't believe more people aren't talking about them. I'm travelling to Europe this summer. I'm really into English & European history & know more than most yanks & even some brits :-) Perhaps my daughter would like to try the chunnel!
