Hahaha *bad things are happening* hahaha

No man, I’m sorry but then you missed a great movie. Yes there were laughs and comedy moments but there was a serious story in there as well. Both Thor and Valkyrie were dealing with some deep shit. If not for the comedy this may have been a deeply depressing movie.

Basically the heaviest story up the that point in the MCU and it wasn't taken at all seriously. For the story and the events that took place, it should have been the most bad ass hard boiled revenge style actioner in the MCU, as well as the most heartbreaking. The people of his homeland are being persecuted, his father dies, he's imprisoned, his best friends the warriors 3 are murdered (which he doesn't even care to ask about, an event that could have further fueled his revenge), his home is destroyed... and it's all a big joke. There were moments of total badassery, but everything else was just a big joke. That just doesn't quite fit for me. Yes, it was still a cool movie, but I just still cannot wrap my mind around people accepting that.
