I get it, it's a funny dumb action comedy. But i personally found the characterization of Hulk just....wrong.

Yeah, that wasn't the Hulk. I didn't think anyone could ruin the Hulk, but they did it. Especially the twisted need to show Hulk's ass crack. What kind of freak writer fantasized about getting that on film? And the way he acted like a sad goof. It was painful to watch.

It's comic accurate. It was the Savage Hulk persona who talks a lot more and is prone to sulking.

A YouTuber said the same thing when she reviewed the movie. I got so caught up in everything being Marvel flavored i didn't even notice it. But yeah, Hulk was definitely not Hulk.

He would have been the best David Banner. They really missed an opportunity there.

The contrast between Banner and Hulk would have been staggering with Knotts. Bumbling, cowardly, rail thin Banner and massive Lou Ferrigno Hulk!

I always wondered what career Lou would have had if not for the hearing issue.

If I am not mistaken, it is somewhat comic accurate from where they lifted the story from and just an expansion of what we already saw between Thor and Hulk in small pieces in prior films.
