'Thor: Ragnarok' WW $833,156,064 beats 'Wonder Woman' WW $821,763,408. MCU occupy the top 3 CBM spots of 2017!!!

Wow really amazing results! The latest milestone in Thor: Ragnarok's smashing box office run. The last milestone really is to reach the $850M mark.

1. Spider-Man:Homecoming = Worldwide: $880,166,924
2. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 = Worldwide: $863,565,527
3. Thor: Ragnarok = Worldwide: $833,156,064
4. Wonder Woman = Worldwide: $821,763,408
5. Logan = Worldwide: $616,795,600
6. Justice League = Worldwide: $613,360,371
7. Kingsman: The Golden Circle = Worldwide: $395,281,423

That's almost a sizzling $2.6B from the MCU alone. I thought for sure Justice League would be number 1 after the reception of Wonder Woman, since it contains 3 A-List superheroes but its unfortunately one of the biggest disappointments of the year. Hopefully they can regroup and provide a decent challenge to the MCU as better competition will push them further but I'm rather sceptical at the moment.

Kingsman was really disapointing.

Fantastic. Well-deserved. Marvelous!
😏

Those willing to challenge Thor and the MCU’s success this year will state that Wonder Woman still won domestically. Well, duh.... That movie became an unexpected success and big phenomenon. It doing amazingly well in NA - better than it did internationally - made sense. And don’t get me wrong, that’s a great thing. But bottom line, the MCU proved yet again that it stands tall and continues to dominate the comic and blockbuster world.

Oh yeah, and if this Disney and Fox deal comes through... Marvel and Disney shall reign supreme like never before. Whoa.

Yup, the deal is definitely going to happen and Phase 4 and beyond is going to be pretty crazy. It'll be really interesting to see how Kevin Feige integrates mutants into the MCU and we'll finally see the Fantastic Four in all their glory. Exciting times ahead!

And the butthurt intensifies. Poor DC fans. I pity them.
