Oh I think it'll do at least 300 million domestic. Would prefer to see a trailer first, but I'll predict at least 850 million worldwide.
share$300 million is way too liberal, especially given the box office of the first two films. Neither broke $210 million domestically. The character just isn't bankable for the most part, which is one of the reasons I think they are pulling in Hulk and Doctor Strange for this one.

So strange made 230 and civil war did 400 domestic. I bet $10 this will break 300, with a worldwide total at 700-pushing a billion I have a strong feeling this movie is gonna be MUCH more rock and roll, and then will get a boost from what I believe will be 2 great marvel pics leading into it. If it gets above a 75% on rotten tomatoes it's gonna do great. PLUS there's gonna be a very prominent Hulk!
shareI think you are right on. With the teaser trailer out now, this one looks like it's going to make the most out of the three Thor films (I guess somewhere around $650-$750+ mil as well).
And I like your description of this being much more rock & roll. It just has a lot more energy that will excite people. At least, a lot more than what Thor 2 trailers did. And best of all, no more boring Natalie Portman character! Marvel knows when to press the Delete button.
Opening Weekend-$90-110 Million
Total Domestic-$220-250 Million
World Wide-$700-800 Million
If The movie truly is as great as the Trailer looks, If It gets excellent reviews(something like 85-92% on RT)....Then IMO 800-900 Million total is possible
I'm expecting a great movie with good reviews(somewhere between 75-85% on RT) and a total gross close to 750 Million
Thor 3 is my most anticipated CBM of 2017
It will be an interesting November. This will basically have 2 weeks to make as much money as possible and then and only then will it face stiff competition from Justice League and that will bring it into Thanksgiving weekend where family stuff usually does good business. So those 2 weeks really do feel like they will be key.
