I always look for what I like in movies not what I don't.
Meg Ryan did well for her first movie but have a few minor questions about the film.

Do women really have such hairstyles at that time? Especially during the war?

Do men really talk like that through letters?
During this time, do soldiers call each other dude?

Just curious.

There was a total disregard for women's hair styles of the early 1940s, as well as several other details. All of the music was ridiculously anachronistic and irrelevant.
