What are the chances

So our future Cheeto in Chief tweets during a coke fueled rage and makes up the word 'unpresidented' because he obviously doesn't know the word 'unprecedented'....and a day and a half later the president on Madam Secretary uses the word 'unprecedented'....I find this high-larious.

On a different note, the hot as balls daughter did exactly what you should do if you see somebody go down...ascertain there's no hearbeat, start compressions, be aggressive and the new guideline is 100 to 120 compressions a minute....if you see them go down, they were probably breathing before they fell so don't worry about breathing for them, most of us have a good amount of reserve...also, the compressions will exchange a little bit of air.
If you don't see them go down, 2 big breaths 2 seconds apart, start compressions, all the time screaming for help.

Lest you think I just watch a lot of medical dramas, I've worked in the local public hospital for almost 15 years, telemetry tech/CNA, pounded on at least 40 people. The first time is always a trip...all I could talk about for days.

Happy Holidays, y'all.

The first time (applying CPR) is always a trip...all I could talk about for days.

Adrenaline rush didn't wane soon after?

Nopers, but my first one was a bit of a special case....me and a nursing student, tiny thing, pounded on him off and on for 1 hr and 45 mins...we'd get him up to 110 to 120, stop compressions, and he'd lose a beat every 30 secs or so...once he got low enough, doc would say, Ok, Joel, gonna need to pump him back up a bit....finally stabilized after 105 mins or so.
Adrenaline rush probably wore off quickly but it was my first time pounding on someone to try to HELP them...as opposed to the other reason....so I didn't really notice.

I meant the adrenaline rush driving the "talking about it for days."

Usually, I find other people don't want to hear about one's exploits. They'd rather tell of their own exploits in one-upmanship. If they can't compete, they'd rather not play.
